Thank you once again!

We would like to thank everyone once again for attending the UDM2015 conference! We believe that the conference experience was a successful one and that a lot of new networks were formed.

For those who are looking for photos of the experience, head over to our Photo Gallery. If you would like to share some photos with us, please email them to the Secretariat.

Over the next few weeks, check out the Conference Programme Page for presentation slides from the various sessions! We would like to ask that all presenters, if possible, share their presentations with us in PDF form.

We thank you once again and look forward to seeing you at the next UDM conference in 2018 in Palermo, Italy!

Post Conference PhD Course (Call for Participants!)

DTU Environment and modelEAU – Université Laval are organizing a PhD (late) summer course on Modelling of Integrated Urban Drainage-Wastewater System. This course will provide an overview of the main concepts applied in integrated urban water quality modelling and will include a mix of lectures and simulation exercises (based on the WEST® simulation software).

The course will be held at the Université Campus (just outside Quebec City, Canada) after the UDM conference (from 24th to 26th September), but some modelling exercises are planned in the weeks before the course (using the Coursera e-learning platform). Additionally, an “hands-on” optional workshop is planned for Sunday 20th September in Mont-Saint-Anne (i.e. at the same location as the UDM conference).

For more information, view the course description, download the official flyer, visit the DTU Environment homepage.

Update: Accommodation information added to the course page

Travel & Venue Update

Visitors to the site may noticed that the Travel & Venue page has been regularly updated. Here are some key snippets of information that you should be aware of when booking your trip to Mont-Sainte-Anne.

  • The conference is not in Quebec City. Château Mont-Sainte-Anne is a 40-minute drive from the city centre. The idea behind this was to create a 24-hour congress experience, where delegates can interact any time during the day
  • There are a number of room types at the Chateau and these can accommodate more than two people if necessary. The Chateau also provides apartment-style accommodation if participants are interested in this option.
  • Use the Group Code 370 when making a booking to get a special rate at Chateau Mont-Sainte-Anne.
  • Be sure to check whether you need a visa to enter Canada. Apply for a Visa as soon as possible to prevent any delays. Also use the special code 15UDMC when applying to speed up the process
  • We are under 100 days away from the conference! A quick reminder that early bird registration closes on July 1st. Hurry to get a good discount for you and your research group!

We look forward to seeing you soon!
